The UNESCO representatives plan to open a branch of International institute of theatre in Kazan. This was stated  yesterday, on June 4,  by general secretary of International institute under the UNESCO  Tobias Biankone during a press-conference, which passed  at the  press-center of  XI International theatrical festival of Turkic peoples  «Nauruz».

On June 4, at the press-center of  XI International theatrical  festival  «Nauruz» a press-conference  was held, dedicated to creating  Euro-Asian theatrical-educational movement within the forum «Nauruz».   Tobias Biakone, general secretary of International theatre under the UNESCO and coordinator   of International theatrical center AKT-ZENT Christian Shmalor (Germany) took part in a meeting with journalists.

The task of visit by Tobias Biankone  to Kazan for the festival  «Nauruz», in particular  – negotiations on possibility of opening one of centers of International theatrical institute under UNESCO  in Kazan.   By words of Biankone,  for taking up  a decision on development of this project, namely in Kazan, it is necessary  to study potential of Tatarstan , to muster support of RT Government, to determine responsible participants of receiving parties. But,  by words of the UNESCO representative,  above all in accepting a positive decision in favor of Kazan  – this is openness and presence of potential. «The main purpose of our organization  – to find and develop that potential, which  is present  in the regions or countries.  Kazan impresses me since I see here clear individuality of theatre and necessary support of this individuality» -Mr Biankone said
