RT State symphonic orchestra presented project in Tatarstan national library

Reading room of RT National library  was overfilled and could not accommodate all  the wishing : listeners occupied neighboring Grot room.

May 20,  RT State symphonic orchestra appeared before the audience in a chamber composition playing  on unique  «Italians»  - instruments purchased at one of the oldest workshops of Europe where orders come from all over the world .

The orchestra  is a possessor of  24 unique violins, alto, cello double-bass, simply,  in a few weeks, more rarity instruments of XVIII and XIX centuries chosen by Alexandr Sladkovsky during last trip to Kremona will arrive in Kazan. Collection  has been acquired thanks to support of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and is considered a cultural value and wealth of the republic.

The audience was given a rare possibility to estimate expensive acquisition. Italian instruments today, first time, sounded without  the winds and drums. The program of concert  - Serenade string orchestra  by P.Chaikovsky and  «From Holberg times» . «Suite in old style»   by E. Grieg. Acoustics of reading room did not yield  to acoustics of a concert hall.

A little later,  Alexandr Sladkovsky  clarified  that idea  of this unusual concert appeared some months ago   during presentation of Anthology of music of Tatarstan composers, just thanks to a fine  acoustics.

New project of the orchestra the audience accepted with enthusiasm, applauds for musicians and conductor were given  standing  and long. Entry, just to the word, was free.
