XIII Theater Sabantuy will take place on June 20
On June 20, at 11:00, at the Apastovsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan, on the Maidan Sabantuy, the XIII Theater Sabantuy will take place.
And this year, artists and employees from the state theaters of Tatarstan, as well as numerous honored guests, will come to the traditional holiday.
Participants: Tatar State Academic Theater named after G. Kamal, Tatar State Theater of Drama and Comedy named after K. Tinchurin, Kazan Tatar State Theater for Young Spectators named after G. Kariev, Tatar State Puppet Theater "Ekiyat", Menzelinsky Tatar State Drama Theater named after S. Amutbaev, Naberezhnye Chelny State Tatar Drama Theater named after A. Gilyazov, Nizhnekamsk Tatar State Drama Theater named after T. Minnullin, Buinsky State Drama Theater, Atninsky Tatar State Drama Theater named after G. Tukai.
The organizers are the Tatar State Drama and Comedy Theater named after Karim Tinchurin and the administration of the Apastovsky municipal district under the leadership of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Despite the fact that Sabantuy is called "theatrical", it does not do without traditional competitions: lifting weights, running in sacks, breaking a pot, fighting with sacks, the national wrestling "Koresh", etc. will be marked with valuable gifts.
Note: The history of Theatrical Sabantui in Tatarstan dates back to 2005. The initiator of such a holiday for the theater community of the Republic was the Tatar State Drama and Comedy Theater named after Karim Tinchurin. The first Theater Sabantuy was held in the village of Aldermysh, Vysokogorsky region. Since then, more than 3 thousand representatives of creative teams of Tatarstan have taken part in the holiday every year. Theatrical Sabantuy is held in order to popularize the national holiday Sabantuy, revive and preserve the holidays and rituals of the Tatar people, popularize genres and types of art and creativity, strengthen and creative development of theatrical unions between the state theaters of Tatarstan.
