On June 9, the opening ceremony of the Days of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in Tatarstan will take place

June 9 at 21.00 on the square in front of the Tatar State Academic Theater. Galiasgar Kamala will host the opening ceremony of the Days of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in the Republic of Tatarstan with  participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov and  head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) A.N. Nikolaev. Within the framework of the ceremony, a bright and unshakable cultural program is planned: playing the khomus performed by the "Ayarkhaan" ethno-group, media art "Elley's Way. Geocultural images ”, circular ritual dance“ Osuokhai ”, ritual Algys - blessing, etc.

Continuing the ceremony, at 21.55 on the square in front of the theater, the play "Uluu Kudansa" ("Kudangsa the Great") staged by the Olonkho Theater will be shown as part of the Nauruz international theater festival of Turkic peoples. The performance is based on the epic work of Platon Oyunsky, one of the founders of the Yakut ASSR and national Soviet literature. The main director of the play is People's Artist of the Russian Federation Andrei Borisov. The epic creation tells the story of the dedication of the leader of Kudangs, who, for the sake of the well-being of his people, is ready to accept any punishment from the higher powers.

The Days of Yakutia in Tatarstan will be held from June 7 to 11 in Kazan, they are focused on the presentation of the cultural, investment, innovation and tourism potential of the Republic of Sakha and are aimed at strengthening interaction between the republics, at finding new opportunities for cooperation.

Within the framework of the days of culture of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Tatarstan residents will have a series of exhibitions of works of fine art, products of folk art and arts and crafts, theatrical performances, movie screenings, literary presentations, meetings of the creative intelligentsia.
