Please accept my sincere congratulations on the Day of Slavic Written Language and Culture! For many centuries, it is the written word that has made it possible to pass on highly moral ideals and universal values to subsequent generations.
Today we pay tribute to the memory and respect of the great enlighteners - brothers Cyril and Methodius. In many ways, thanks to their labors, the foundations of the culture and spiritual life of the Slavic peoples were laid. The rich and original Slavic culture, based on high moral foundations, has become a treasure trove of literary and artistic creativity, an invaluable repository of a vibrant spiritual heritage.
History testifies that the future has only a society where close attention is paid to literacy and education, cultural traditions and spiritual values are carefully preserved and transmitted.
On this bright day, I wish you good health, happiness and prosperity! Let the first teachers Cyril and Methodius always remind us of the value of the written word and the wealth of the spiritual heritage of our peoples.
