Military songs will sound on the eve of Victory Day

The Kazan State Conservatory named after N.G. Zhiganov will present a program for Victory Day on the stage of the State Big Concert Hall named after S. Saidashev.

The concert will be held on May 6 and will traditionally be charitable, among the guests of the concert are war and labor veterans, home front workers.

The concert is attended by bright young singers and instrumentalists of the Conservatory, the Tatarica Orchestra under the baton of the Honored Art Worker of Tatarstan Rinat Khalitov, the Boys' Capella Dmitry Zheleznov.

Songs by David Tukhmanov, Matvey Blanter, Alexandra Pakhmutova, Mikael Tariverdiev, Yevgeny Martynov and many other composers, orchestral works by Isaac Dunaevsky, Johannes Brahms and Franz Suppe, fragments from operas by Tikhon Khrennikov and Kirill Sokeyeva and Rolchenov's compositions by Golchenov Feydman, fragments from the oratorio "Keshe" ("Man") by Mirsaid Yarullin.

"Blue Kerchief", "Cranes", "Ballad of the Mother", "Victory Day" - these songs are known to the whole country today. Everyone will be able to hear them online - the organizers plan to conduct a live broadcast on the channel of the Kazan Conservatory on the YouTube site.

The concert starts at 18:30.
