The feeling of pride and patriotism went off scale in the concert hall of the House of Friendship of the Peoples of the Republic of Tatarstan this Sunday. The reason for this is the opening of the film festival of the peoples of the Republic of Tatarstan - "Panorama", timed to coincide with the Year of Native Languages and National Unity.
The organizers of the festival were the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the cultural institution "Tatarkino" and the House of Friendship of the Peoples of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the Assembly of the Peoples of Tatarstan.
“The need for such a festival has been in the air for a long time” - says writer, playwright, screenwriter, member of the Union of Cinematographers of the Republic of Tatarstan Mansur Gilyazov - “To come to unity and understanding, cinema is the most direct way to reflect the atmosphere of life of each nation, their traditions and customs, beauty. "Panorama" is an exemplary phenomenon for other regions of the country. This festival will bring our peoples closer together. This festival is a counterbalance to such a phenomenon as globalization. Every people, every nation must preserve its national identity and live in unity with other nationalities and peoples. "
The performances excited the audience by the collectives of the cultural associations of Transcaucasia, the Uzbek dance collective "Humo", the folk ensemble of the Slavic song "Kuderushki" and the collective of the Indian dance "Santosh".
The Panorama Film Festival starts with the Days of Chuvash Cinema on February 22 at 18:00 at the Mir cinema. Days of German cinema are planned in March, in April - Mari, in May - Georgian. In summer, viewers will be able to watch Turkic, Slavic and Armenian films. Autumn - Days of Dagestan, Buryat, Indian and Arab cinema. "Panorama" finishes with the Days of Tajik Cinema.
“A new tool is emerging in the mechanisms of national policy implementation - the language of cinema. It is important for us to achieve agreement and understanding between peoples, and the language of cinema is universal, it is very accessible. The fact that today we will receive new forms of communication in the languages of peoples for our national cultural associations, I think this will give unexpected results. This is a year for us - a year of experiments. " - said Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Federal National-Cultural Autonomy of the Tatars, Director of the State Budgetary Institution "House of Friendship of the Peoples of Tatarstan" Irek Sharipov.
