Press conference dedicated to the republican award of Ilgam Shakirov was held in the IA "Tatar-inform"
A press conference dedicated to the Republican Ilgam Shakirov Prize was held at the Tatar-inform news agency. The speakers summed up the results of the award, spoke about the upcoming award ceremony and discussed plans for the next years. The questions from the media were answered by:

Nurullin Kadim Nazyrovich - Director of the Tatar State Philharmonic named after G. Tukaya;
Fayzrakhmanov Aydar Fatrakhmanovich - Artistic Director of the Tatar State Philharmonic Society named after Gabdulla Tukai, Artistic Director of the State Folk Music Ensemble of the Republic of Tatarstan;
Ilgam Shakirov's literary award ceremony will take place on February 15 at 18:30 at the Tatar State Philharmonic named after Gabdulla Tukai.

The Ilgam Shakirov Republican Prize is awarded to performers for the most outstanding achievements in the field of national vocal art, which have received high public recognition, for performing skills and fruitful activities to preserve and popularize the original traditions of Tatar singing culture and the development of professional song and vocal creativity.
The award is of a personal nature and is conferred in the following nominations: "Vocal (women)"; "Vocals (men)"; "Folk Singing".
Applications were submitted between August 1 and November 15.
A total of 27 applications were submitted.
The decision on the candidates was made at a meeting of the competition committee.
It includes prominent figures of culture and art, including the poet Rkail Zaydulla, People's Artists of Tatarstan Zilya Sungatullina, Aydar Fayzrakhmanov, Salavat Fatkhetdinov and others.
According to the decision of the commission, in the nomination "Vocal" the award "Female Voice" will be given to People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, soloist-vocalist of GONI RT Reseda Galimova. The "Male Voice" prize was awarded to the winner of the Grand Prix of the Tatar Song Festival named after Vagapov, laureate of the Republican Prize named after I. Jalil, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Filyus Kagirov. In the nomination "National Performance" the prize will be awarded to Ilgam Shakirov's fellow countryman - Fleur Shakirov.
