A unique exhibition of collectible teapots will open in Elabuga

On January 15, 2021 at  the Exhibition Hall of the Yelabuga State Museum-Reserve, the exhibition "The Magic World of TEA-Makers" from  private collection of Sergei Prach (Tchaikovsky, Perm Territory) will start working.

The exhibition will feature over 300 collection teapots from Russia, China, Japan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and the Baltic countries. Products are made of porcelain, glass, metal, wood, ceramics, crystal and other materials.

A special place in the exposition is occupied by teapots of the Leningrad Porcelain Factory, which has been keeping its brand and producing high-quality products for many years.

Visitors will learn the history of the collection, see teapots of unusual shapes and get acquainted with their new functions: stands for writing utensils, a container for storing spices, jewelry boxes.

Sergei Prokopyevich Prach - reserve colonel of the Ministry of Emergencies. Born on April 16, 1951 in the Chelyabinsk region. Since 1973 he has been living in the Perm Territory. The first exhibition "Old Mother's Teapot" was held in 2010 at the Tchaikovsky Museum of Local Lore, the exposition "The Magic World of Teapots" is the fifth in a row.
