Culture volunteers in Almetevsk held the #YolkiArt campaign
From 19 to 30 December, concerts, creative performances, quests and New Year's master classes will be held in the courtyards of Russian cities. The #YolkiArt campaign has been launched especially for the New Year by residents of Tavrida and activists of the Cultural Volunteers public movement of the Association of Volunteer Centers.
Everyone can take part and create a festive mood for residents of their yard.
New Year is one of the most beloved holidays of Russians, it is at this time, regardless of age, that everyone hopes for a miracle. The magic of the New Year's holiday is manifested in sincere deeds, gifts and wishes. This year, epidemiological measures do not allow organizing traditional mass celebrations.
In many cities of Russia, young creators of the art cluster "Tavrida" and "Volunteers of Culture" will hold events as part of the #YolkiArt campaign and congratulate the residents. More than 1000 households across Russia will join the action. The #YolkiArt campaign will become a part of the #WeV Together project, which will unite caring and creative people. Young representatives of creative industries will arrange a real New Year's party. Together with the participants of the Big Change competition, residents will perform popular New Year songs and author's compositions, organize dance flash mobs and show creative performances.
In a large format, the event this year will be held in five cities of the country: in Novy Urengoy, Ufa, Kursk, the New Year's capital of 2021 - Kaluga, and # FavoriteAlmetyevsk was among the "lucky ones". More than 45 cultural volunteers have already organized a New Year's performance at the main Christmas tree of Almetyevsk and staged a New Year's performance for city residents. Also, volunteers in Bavlinsky and Chistopolsky districts and Naberezhnye Chelny lit the lights on the main regional Christmas trees yesterday.
New Year's events will be held in compliance with all security measures in the courtyards of residential buildings throughout Russia. Within the framework of the action, residents of "Tavrida" and volunteers will unite with activists of microdistricts. Thanks to this, real art objects will appear in ordinary residential yards in the form of the main symbol of the New Year - a Christmas tree. Authors choose the color, material and decorations on their own, the only condition is that the tree must retain its traditional shape. Quests, concerts, master classes on making Christmas tree decorations, carnival costumes, decor items, masks and garlands will be organized in courtyards and squares.
Music Challenge # 5minutes before the new year will be another festive innovation. All residents of our country are invited to write their own couplets to the theme of the song "Five Minutes" and publish them on social networks (Instagram, Tik-Tok, VKontakte) under a common hashtag. The best verses will be compiled into a single track and presented on music streaming platforms.
