Acceptance of applications for the XV International Theater Festival of Turkic Peoples "Nauruz"
From June 7 to 13, 2021, Kazan will host the XV International Theater Festival of Turkic Peoples "Nauruz". This year the festival will be held under the auspices of the theatrical art of the Northern Turks - the Republic of Altai, the Republic of Tyva and the Republic of Khakassia.

For participation in the Festival, performances are considered, premieres of which took place during the last two theatrical seasons. All performances announced for participation in the Festival must be in the languages of the Turkic language group.
Participants of the Festival can be professional state and independent drama theaters, and puppet theaters of the Turkic-speaking republics and countries, as well as groups performing plyas of traditional and areal theater forms of the Turkic peoples (performances in the open air, including site-specific genres, promenade).
The performances of XV "Nauruz" will be presented at 7 theater venues in Kazan: the Big and Small stages of the Kamal State Academic Theater, the Big and Small Stage of the Ekiyat Puppet Theater, the Tatar State Drama and Comedy Theater named after Tinchurin Theater for Young Spectators G. Kariev, the embankment of Lake Kaban.
The founders of the Festival are the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation, and the Union of Theater Workers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The organizer of the festival is the Tatar State Academic Theater named after G. Kamal.
