VIII All-Russia contest-festival of ensembles and orchestras of folk instruments «Folk melodies» will take place in G. Tukai Tatar philharmonics

April 8 – 9,  2013, the VIII  All-Russia  contest-festival of ensembles and orchestras of folk instruments «Folk melodies», which had been  initiated and  is  being  held  by people’s artiste of Russia, G. Tukai award laureate, professor, academician of Peter academy of science and arts Anatoly Shutikov    will be held in G. Tukai Tatar state philharmonics.

The   festival was set up  by RT Ministry of culture and Tatar state philharmonics.

 The first day will be allocated to auditing ensembles of folk instruments, and the second one for orchestras of  folk instruments. In the end of second day  (April 9)  a performance of RT State orchestra of Russian folk instruments under the conduct of A. Shutikov will take place.
