Dear Tatarstaners  and  respectable colleagues!

On behalf of my heart  I congratulate you on the Day of culture workers! This festive  unites  all of us,  who bring  an invaluable contribution in spiritual progressing of the society  and popularization of our the richest cultural  heritage, who is indifferent to the past, present and the future of  multi-national culture of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Day of culture workers concerns all the layers of our society. This holyday relates  not only to  workers of theatres, museums, libraries clubs, art schools, this day  together with us, numerous spectators of cultural mass events, participants of amateur art  activities, readers and  attendees of the museums- all those for whom cultural values, need of creative realization is part of personal development.

We have  what  to be proud of. From year to year, Tatarstan more actively demonstrates to the  whole  world beauty and might of her culture,  her  deep  roots  and bright perspectives.

In 2012,  in the year of historic-cultural heritage, with support of President of Tatarstan  R.N. Minnikhanov, large scale works have commenced on preserving  historic monuments, reviving  Ancient Bolgar and island-town Sviyazhsk continued.  A bright example became  opening of new building of Tatar state theatre of puppets  «Ekiyat».

New cultural centers  have been built in all the  regions of the republic. Significant achievements of the Republic Tatarstan have been fixed in TYURKSOI decision to announce Kazan a cultural capital of Turkic world in   2014.

It is important  to remember that culture    is  always more than today. In conditions of global processes  - this is a civilization basis and guarantee  of preserving our identity in the future .

Let me congratulate all culture workers and residents of Tatarstan on the Day of culture workers. I believe that new victories wait us ahead .

With all my heart,   I wish you creative successes, health, happiness and well-being!
