From 21 to 29 December and 2, 3 January the Kazan Tatar State Theater for Young Spectators named after G. Kariev will show festive New Year performances.
Fascinating interludes and interactions from Ded Moroz and Snegurochka, games with fairy tale characters, sweet surprises and modern music are awaiting the guests of the theater. But the most important gift of the outgoing year is the premiere of the fairy tale "Grandma Frost": the last in 2020 and the fifth since the beginning of the 33rd theatrical season.
The famous playwright and director, laureate of the M. Jalil Prize, Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Tatarstan, artistic director of the Tatar State Puppet Theater "Ekiyat" Ilgiz Zainiev wrote specially for the Kariev theater the fairy tale "Grandma Frost". The poetess Reseda Zainieva (Gubaeva) became the author of poetic text for the performance. Director of the play is Regina Sattarova, a nominee for the All-Russian national award "Harlequin", a participant of the "Golden Mask +" festival.
Regina Sattarova: “This is a magical story, the main idea of which is that real magic and miracle is a miracle of love for people who live next to us. The closest ones, relatives, loved ones. In my opinion, the significance of New Year's performances is that they are an integral part of family history. Here we take memorable pictures, and after years we remember the New Year trees as something magical, like the sweetest moments of childhood. Therefore, director faces a difficult task: to give the viewer a real sense of magic. Behind the external lightness lies a great and painstaking work. Fortunately, I was lucky with the team ... "
Creative group of the tale:
