Young musicians from Kazan took part in the 17th Moscow Meets Friends International Festival, the largest project of the Vladimir Spivakov International Charitable Foundation. It is held every year at the best concert and exhibition venues in Moscow and the Moscow Region. The organizing committee includes prominent politicians, public figures, scientists, representatives of culture and art.
Students of the Secondary Special Music School Adelina Safina and Alexander Arkhireyev, as well as assistant-trainee of the Kazan State Conservatory named after N.G. Zhiganov Ekaterina Chebotareva took part in the festival.
Ekaterina Chebotareva performed at the gallery of People's Artist Alexander Shilov. The pianist performed an etude by Franz Liszt in E-flat major from “Big Etudes by Paganini”: “I represented the city of Kazan, and my educational institution, the Kazan Conservatory. I was impressed by the quality of the instrument and the acoustics of the incredibly beautiful hall. Considering the current situation in the world, the mask mode was maintained until the very appearance on the stage. During the performance, only the soloist (sometimes together with the accompanist), cameraman, sound engineer and presenter were in the hall. I would like to express my deep gratitude and respect to the entire colossal team of organizers for their boundless work and the excellent implementation of this wonderful project online, "Ekaterina Chebotareva shared her impressions.
A seventh grade student, flutist Adelina Safina was delighted to meet other project participants and shared her impressions of the festival:
- I am glad that I had the opportunity to participate in such a large-scale event! We were greeted warmly and hospitably. I felt very happy and had the most positive emotions from the festival. I would like to express special gratitude to the organizers of the festival, they helped us in everything!
“All the participants were treated attentively and hospitably, the concerts were held in a friendly and warm atmosphere. We were provided with excellent conditions and memorable gifts. Despite the fact that there were many participants, everyone at the festival was equally welcome, and everyone was considered worthy. The concerts of the festival are broadcast on the Internet and attract a large number of spectators - more than could be at a live concert. Therefore, I got a good opportunity to show my skills and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of the event ”- says Alexander Arkhireyev, a 10th grade student of the SSMSh, clarinetist.
