Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova today in an informal setting met with journalists covering cultural issues in federal and republican media.
More than 20 professionals gathered at the Tatar State Puppet Theater "Ekiyat" to sum up the cultural results of the year.
The journalists themselves immediately called this meeting a special one: in addition to the place where media representatives could watch the dress rehearsal of the New Year's program, there was also a discussion of a “different” format. Head of the department first listened to opinions on the discoveries of the year and proposals from journalists, only after that she proceeded to the results.
The journalists had many discoveries of the year: many noted that despite restrictive measures and self-isolation, this year was rich in premieres. Rapturous comments were received for the premiere screenings of performances at the Tinchurin Theater, Kachalovsky Theater, Youth Theater, Kariev Theater, the Pechen Bazaars Festival on Republic Day, the National Library, Altyn Kazan, Golden Mask, Altyn Telinka and other events in the art world.
Journalists raised the issues of restoration of the building of the Art School named after N.I. Feshin, here they discussed the fate of the Tinchurin Theater, namely appointment of the chief director. Media representatives are also concerned about such issues as shortage of journalists specializing in the culture of Tatarstan.
“We will leave, and there is simply no one to replace us. I propose to develop special courses for students, "said Olga Yukhnovskaya from Vechernyaya Kazan.
Rustam Iskhakov, editor of the YouTube channel "Tatar today" "praised" leadership of the ministry for interaction with the media in the two state languages. “I would like to note that during my long career in journalism, you are the first head of the department who, in such a friendly atmosphere, answers important questions with non-routine answers,” the journalist thanked.
Albina Absalyamova from Idel magazine marked the bright SHURALE from La Primavera, The Nutcracker within the framework of the Abyazov Festival and the exhibition of Viktor Fedorov. Lika Isaeva from Komsomolskaya Pravda noted that Kazan theaters began to create performances for the little ones. She offered to create family shows.
During the two-hour informal meeting, the journalists asked more than 50 questions. Journalists asked about the possibility of returning higher education for artists, about the fate of the cultural diary and the establishment of some kind of competition-encouragement for those who write about culture, about activities of the Writers' Union of the Republic of Tatarstan and even about buffets in theaters.
Having listened to the suggestions and questions of each, Irada Ayupova during the conversation expanded and "substantively" answered the questions.
The minister invited journalists to take part in a press tour to visit institutions outside Kazan in order to get acquainted with cultural projects in the districts.
“We are taking the initiative to develop regulations on the competition for the media actively covering cultural issues. I would like journalists to also take part in its creation, we will definitely take into account your opinion. With your work you are expanding the boundaries, ” head of the department noted.
- Unfortunately, many cultural institutions do not interact with the media, but we are always open to dialogue.
Irada Ayupova thanked all the participants of the meeting for their dedication to the topic of culture and presented mementos, wishing to work in the new calendar year as a close-knit team.
