A concert dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Salikh Saydashev to be held in Kazan

1 December 2020, Tuesday

The opera studio of the Kazan State Conservatory named after N.G. Zhiganov is preparing a program for the 120th anniversary of the outstanding Tatar composer Salikh Saydashev and the 75th anniversary of the university.

The concert will take place on December 3, on the composer's birthday and will be held in the State Big Concert Hall, which today bears his name.

Salikh Saydashev is one of the founders of the genre of national musical drama. As a conductor and musical director of the Kamal Tatar Drama Theater, together with playwrights Faizi, Tinchurin and Gizzat, he created his famous stage works: "On the Kandra", "The Blue Shawl", "The Hunter", "Galiyabanu", "Il" ("Homeland ") other.

These musical performances of extraordinary beauty, depth and subtle lyrics deserve special attention from national theaters. The opera studio of the Kazan Conservatory turned to the work of Salikh Saydashev in 2010 - then the play "Sweet Hafiza" was staged, and in 2016 the audience was presented with the musical drama "The Lessee". Saydashev, like his friend Karim Tinchurin, dreamed of opening a musical theater in Tatarstan. The collective of the opera studio is also full of these hopes, including in its repertoire ever new examples of classical and national opera art.

The concert will be a dedication to the Master. The program will host graduates of the Kazan Conservatory who have passed the school of the opera studio: Honored Artist of Tatarstan Aigul Khairi, Rishat Akhmadullin, Aigul Gardislamova, Syumbel Sitdikova, Ilgiz Mukhutdinov, Ruslan Zakirov, Dilyara Tukhvatullina, Airat Ganiev, Alina  Khusnutdinova.

The program includes songs and excerpts from Saydashev's musical performances "  The Blue Shawl", "On Kandra", "The Lessee, "Sweet  Hafiza" and others.
