The State Song and Dance Ensemble of Tatarstan goes on a tour of the cities of Russia with the program "Tugan Il" ("Native Side").
Vladimir, Moscow and Cheboksary are waiting for the premiere of the musical and choreographic performance "Tui" ("Wedding") and the best numbers from the "Golden Fund".
The tour, timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the TASSR, will be held with the support of ROSCONCERT within the framework of the federal tour WE - RUSSIA.
The first performance of the ensemble will take place on November 28 at the Youth Culture House of the city of Vladimir. The very next day, November 29, the collective will present their work on the stage of the Izmailovo Concert Hall in Moscow. On December 1, the performance will take place at the Chuvash State Opera and Ballet Theater in Cheboksary.
The presented musical and choreographic performance "Tui" ("Wedding") is based on folklore and ethnographic materials of the Kazan and Siberian Tatars of the late XIX - early XX centuries. The public will have a unique opportunity to plunge into history and see a traditional Tatar wedding.
According to scriptwriter and director - artistic director of the State Ensemble of Song and Dance of the Republic of Tatarstan, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Ayrat Khametov, the Tui program is a unique event for those who are interested in history. A lot of work was done with archives and documents in order to show as authentically the stage version of the wedding of Kazan and Siberian Tatars in the last century as possible.
About 300 colorful costumes were made specially for the premiere based on historical materials. Ethnic instruments were purchased for the orchestra in order to reflect the peculiarities of that time as vividly as possible.
The audience will also be presented with a variety of vocal and choreographic compositions, Tatar folk songs and potpourri from the "Golden Fund" of the ensemble, new numbers staged over the past two years.
Director of GAPiT RT ( RT State Ensemble Song and Dance) Yuri Zhukov noted that the upcoming tour is a long-awaited and important event for the collective. “It is very important for us to be with our audience. It is important not to lose the invisible thread that has been connecting the viewer and our creative collective for many years. It is clear that there is an Internet space and here we also have our own developments, but nothing can replace live communication, ”Yuri Zhukov shared his opinion.
He also said that the Ensemble's tour is organized taking into account sanitary requirements: more buses will be involved so that the artists travel at a certain distance from each other, it is planned to conduct regular thermometry, disinfectants are purchased, the team is fully provided with masks and much more.
On December 9 and 10, the program "Tugan Il" will be presented to the Kazan audience on the stage of the TSAT after G. Kamal.
The State Order of Friendship of Peoples Song and Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Tatarstan is a legendary ensemble with a history of more than 80 years. All these years, the collective of the ensemble has been the keeper of national traditions, representing the musical, dance culture, applied art of the Tatar people at the highest professional level.
