The ceremony of determining the winners of the Street Art Festival of the Volga Federal District "FormART" will be held via teleconference
On November 14, at 15:00, the PJSC Rostelecom branch in Tatarstan will host the Winners and Closing Ceremony of the FormART Street Art Festival of the Volga Federal District. The ceremony will be held online in the branch studio using the TrueConf.ru platform with participation of representatives from all 14 regions of the Volga Federal District. Participants and jury members are presented in the table below.
The project of street art "FormART" is being implemented on the initiative of the Plenipotentiary Representative of President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov.
The Street Art Festival aims to support the creativity of young artists, the creation of a modern urban environment and new cultural codes in the regions of the district through graffiti art.
The main theme of this year's street art festival is unity in the fight against the new coronavirus infection COVID-19. Through their graffiti, young artists were able to convey the importance of the contribution of medical workers and volunteers to preservation of the life and health of the population, the indifference of citizens to the elderly and people with disabilities, a look at new realities and the life of society in the “postcovid era”.
From July 7 to August 17, more than 150 works from the constituent entities of the Russian Federation were submitted to the qualifying stage of the FormART Street Art Festival.
From the Republic of Tatarstan, the artist AzatShakirov took part in the festival with his work, who became the finalist of the regional qualifying stage. Thanks to him, a new mural has appeared on the facade of house No. 55 on Marshal Chuikov Street in Kazan. The artist named the work "The Beehive". On November 14, the winner of the Street Art Festival in the Volga Federal District will be determined.
On October 19, 2020, voting for the best work of the Street Art Festival of the Volga Federal District "FormART" started.
Information about the finalists is posted on the website formartpfo.ru in the "Finalists" tab. Each participant is assigned a voting number from 1 to 14.
The peculiarity of the vote was that additional points will be awarded to works for which residents of other regions voted. The final result of the finalist is determined by the sum of places from three tables - expert, popular vote of residents of their region and popular vote of residents of other regions.
Each finalist applies for grants for the development of their creativity and skill in the amount of 100 thousand rubles for the 1st place, 75 thousand rubles for the second place, 50 thousand rubles for the 3rd place.
