Fayzrakhman Aminov - Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Tatarstan, Honored Artist of the RSFSR, painter, watercolorist, graphic artist.

Fayzrakhman GabdrakhmanovichAminov (1908-1984) is one of those creators of the 20th century who found their own direction, their own theme in art, created a fascinating world of unique artistic images and an incomparable "Amin's" spiritual space.

Living and working in Leningrad, but connected with Kazan by invisible threads, the artist entered Tatar fine art in the early 1970s, overturning the “gray-brown” color scheme characteristic of the local art school, splashing “Bilibino patterns” on his canvases, their beauty and fabulousness. A representative of the Leningrad school of painting, a master of realistic portraits and fairy-tale paintings, who, in a revised form, combined the achievements of the "northern school" of painting with a magical factor - the glow of Ural gems, FaizrakhmanAminov from Kungur (a place where precious stones are cut) is a full-fledged participant in the formation of national aesthetics and the school of fine arts. art of Tatarstan.

In a series of watercolors for "Shurale", work on which began in the 1950s, Aminov creates not only illustrations for the texts of Tukay's most beloved works by the people - he creates a parallel artistic world that begins to live its own life.

In the illustrations for "Water" Aminov embodies the brightest image of his native Tatar village. He saturates the pictures with memories of his own childhood, an abundance of peasant life, national costumes and types, recreates the interior of a Tatar house, with great love outlining all of its indispensable attributes - a chest with feather beds and pillows, an abundance of patterned curtains, homespun paths, patchwork quilts, shamail on wall.

It should be noted that the art of FayzrakhmanAminov subtly and fancifully combined the aristocracy of St. Petersburg graphics, the "Bilibino" fairy style and the ancient layers of Tatar folk art. Aminov created his own, easily recognizable graphic language, which was so beloved by the Kazan audience that his work became an integral part of the artistic culture of Tatarstan.

The exposition presents graphic and pictorial works from the collection of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The exhibition can be visited from November 12 at the National Art Gallery "Khazine" of the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts.
