Festival "Handshake of the Republics" expands the borders - the Republics of Bashkortostan and Mordovia
The IV All-Russian Online Festival "Handshake of the Republics" will be held on November 4 in online format on the official pages of the Pushkin Cultural Center and on November 5 from 18.00-19.00 on the ZOOM online platform.
The unfavorable epidemiological situation forced to transfer the festival program to the virtual space. But the organizers promise that even online, users will get the same experience as before.
For three years the festival has been held at the site of the House of Friendship of the Peoples of Tatarstanwith support of the Russian National Cultural Association of the Republic of Tatarstan. The festival received a lot of publicity in the republican media. More than 750 spectators attended the event.
It was attended by poets from the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republic of Mari-El, the Chuvash Republic, the Udmurt Republic, the Republic of Crimea and the federal city of Sevastopol. This year the Republics of Bashkortostan and Mordovia joined the festival.
Unfortunately, the pandemic prevented the participants from coming to Kazan, but live communication will remain in the videoconference mode: listeners will be able to ask questions to the poets.
This year, the online festival "Handshake of the Republics" will be dedicated to the Day of National Unity and the parade of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the autonomous republics of the Volga region.
The organizers of the project are the Russian National Cultural Association of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Writers' Union of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Tatarstan branch of the Union of Russian Writers, the Dialogue Kazan Poetic Theater (artistic director, poet, founder, project coordinator - Olga Levadnaya).
