Edict on holding Tatar people’s festive «Sabantui» signed

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has signed  the Edict on holding  Tatar  people’s  festive  «Sabantui».

Considering requests from the population and proposals of local municipalities, the «Sabantui» is to be held  in rural settlements and regional centers (including towns of the republican value) on June 8-9, 2013. In Naberezhny Chelny and Nizhnekamsk it is to take place  on June 15, in Kazan on July 13,   2013.

The RT Cabinet  jointly with local municipalities are charged to provide organization of festive measures  at  indicated dates. The  municipal bodies, public associations, enterprises are offered to take active part and render necessary promotion in arranging «Sabantui».
