Tatar poet Akhmet Akhatovich Rashitov passed away

On September 24, at the age of 85, a Tatar poet, publicist, Honored Worker of Culture of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, Honored Worker of Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan, Laureate of the Gayaz Iskhaki Prize died.

Akhmet Rashitov was born on March 25, 1936 in the village of Novye Chechkaby, Buinsky District of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. He is a graduate of Kazan State University. After graduation, he worked as a literary employee in the newspaper "Brigadir" of the Apastovsky district, in the Kazan television studio and on the Leninogorsk television. In addition to poetry, Akhmet Rashitov was engaged in journalism and translation.

The continuity of generations, the connection of times, faith in the future - these are the values ​​that fill his works. Rashit Akhmetov was a recognized master of words, his work always carried with it high meanings.

His talent will remain in the memory and hearts of friends and fans of creativity. We express our condolences to family and friends.
