Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova took part in the forum "Gold of the Turks"

On September 16, within the framework of the forum "Gold of the Turks", a meeting "Dialogue on Equals" was held, during which participants from the regions of Russia were able to ask the most intimate and topical questions to experts in the field of culture and cinema. The honorary guests of the meeting were  Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova, as well as advisers to  Head of the Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs Anna Polezhaeva and Shamil Jafarov.

Speaking about the importance of knowing their roots, Irada Ayupova reminded the children that cultural, linguistic, and national differences should not divide, but unite people: “It is impossible to know 100% what blood flows in each of us. However, we are united by common roots , distant meanings and symbols. We must learn to be different, to accept each other's differences and not stop looking for common values ​​that make us one. " The Minister of Culture is sure that for this it is necessary to turn to the history of a own genus.

In turn, Anna Polezhaeva called on the forum participants to express their most daring ideas in order to jointly achieve a common goal - the unity of the peoples inhabiting our vast country. “Culture is what unites us. And knowledge of each other's peculiarities gives rise to mutual respect,” Anna is sure.

The meeting with the experts turned out to be quite lively and productive. For a very long time, the young participants did not let the speakers go and shared their projects, and also talked about problematic moments in their regions. So, for example, answering a question from one of the forum's delegates, Shamil Jafarov assured that it is possible to preserve national identity, while remaining a citizen of your country. “You need to know your ancestry, but your own identity should help to integrate into the global community, and not be isolated from the surrounding world,” Shamil Jafarov said.
