A meeting of the Working Group on Culture of the Intergovernmental Russian - Kyrgyz Commission was held in Kazan
The day before, the meeting of the Working Group on Culture of the Intergovernmental Russian - Kyrgyz Commission took place at the Kazan City Hall. President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Culture of Russia Olga Lyubimova delivered a welcoming speech. The meeting was attended by Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic and Chairman of the Kyrgyz part Azamat Zhamankulov and Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the Russian part Nikolai Ovsienko.
During the meeting, the parties agreed on cooperation between the Kazan State Institute of Culture and Arts and the Kyrgyz State University of Culture and Arts named after B. Beishenaliev. They discussed the possibility of inter-museum interaction, as well as partnership in the library sphere.
It should be reminded that on September 15 the Russian - Kyrgyz delegation visited the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan and the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan. Azamat Zhamankulov also noted the following areas of possible interaction: development of an internet platform using national works, joint exhibitions, exchange of experience, and online events.
At the end of the day, a solemn signing of the protocol of the second meeting of the Working Group on Culture of the Intergovernmental Russian - Kyrgyz Commission took place.
