The leaders of the Republic of Tatarstan expressed their condolences in connection with death of Khamduna Timergalieva
The public of the Republic of Tatarstan has suffered an irreparable loss. On September 14, at the age of 72, a popular performer of Tatar songs, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Bashkortostan, Timergalieva Hamduna Saetgalievna died.
Kh.S.Timergalieva was born on May 24, 1949 in the village of Kutliyarovo, Buraevsky district of the Bashkir ASSR. In 1970 she graduated from the Bashkir Republican Cultural and Educational School. From the very first performances on the stage, the owner of the rare beauty voice of Khamduna Timergalieva won the people's love and popularity.
Since 1976, the creative life of Kh.S.Timergalieva is associated with one collective - the Tatar State Philharmonic named after Gabdulla Tukai. Working in concert collectives with recognized stage masters E. Zalyaletdinov, G. Rakhimkulov, I. Shakirov helped her improve as a vocalist and create her own pop group, with which she toured for many years across the country and abroad. She was known and loved in Turkey, Australia, China and other countries.
The highest professionalism, extraordinary efficiency, deep knowledge of ethnic folklore allowed Khamduna Timergalieva to convey the original beauty and age-old wisdom of folk songs, the depth of content of the author's works. With her unique performance, she gave a second life to the pearls of folk art, reviving individual songs lost in the flow of time. It was she who was the first professional performer of the old Tatar and Bashkir folk songs "Zhomga", "Yalgyz kaen", "Kartuf", "Elmeluk koe", "Galige baram ele", "Eh, zamana", "Teteshle koe", "Eh, Madine, Mokereme ”,“ Boray ”,“ Bibizeke ”,“ Beznen duslar marilar ”and others, giving them immortality.
In her performance, folk songs "Uf, yoregem", "Kul buenda", "Ai-hai, goalkey", "Mustache buylary", "Ak chuk, zengar shel" became popular among the audience and took their rightful place in the gold fund of the Tatar stage ... Her repertoire consisted of over 750 songs.
The work of Kh.S.Timergalieva is loved by many generations of listeners. Until the last day she went on stage, was an active member of the club of veterans of the Tatar State Philharmonic Society named after Gabdulla Tukai "Ilhamiyat" ("Inspiration").
The high skill of Khamduna Timergalieva was noted with state awards, including the honorary titles of People's and Honored Artist of the Tatarstan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic and the Republic of Tatarstan, medals "In Commemoration of the 1000th Anniversary of Kazan" and "For Valorous Labor", Letter of thanks from the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Kh.S.Timergaliev has always been distinguished by selfless service to her beloved work and a unique gift of the performer. The bright memory of the beloved folk singer, who made an invaluable contribution to the preservation and development of the Tatar vocal performing art, will forever remain in our hearts.
