Today in the city of Bolgar in the framework of the national project "Culture" opened a model library
Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova took part in the opening of a model library in the town of Bolgar, Spassky municipal district, created within the framework of the national project "Culture".
We remind that last year the Intersettlement Central Library won the competition for the creation of model libraries worth 10 million rubles. Thanks to the national project "Culture", it has been transformed into a real cultural and educational center. The book fund alone has increased by three thousand books. The selection of literature, according to the specialists of the acquisition department, took place in accordance with the requests of readers.
The library has been updated with furniture (hanging swings, poufs, shelves, etc.) and installed modern equipment (computers, projectors for the cinema and planetarium, etc.). For example, young readers have the opportunity to paint with sand on a light table - this is a developmental system that stimulates the creative and intellectual abilities of kids.
Much has been done for disabled visitors. A hardware and software complex was brought to the library for them. It includes a candy bar with specialized speech synthesis software, an electronic video magnifier, a backlit magnifier, a specialized keyboard, a radio system for hearing impaired, and a speech therapy simulator. Adapted sports board games were purchased especially for visitors with disabilities. Braille editions have been purchased for people with visual impairments.
After inspecting the model library, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan visited the House of Friendship of Peoples, located on the basis of the regional house of culture. In this place, people of different diasporas, such as Tatars, Chuvash, Armenians, Uzbeks, Russians and others, can share their experience and culture.
At the end of the meeting, Irada Ayupova assessed the progress of the overhaul of the Bulgarian Children's Art School. While renovation is underway, the children continue to study in another building. The object is being repaired according to the republican program.
