For the first time in Kazan, the theater from the capital will play the play "The Kind Man from Sezuan" by B. Brecht, staged by one of the brightest contemporary directors - Yuri Butusov.

The Moscow theater will tour as part of the Golden Mask festival in Kazan. Alexandra Ursulyak won the Golden Mask Prize for this role. Also,  within the framework of the festival  a tour of the Moscow theater "Workshop P. Fomenko"  will take place. The play "A Midsummer Night's Dream" to be performed at the Katchalov Theater on September 23 and 24.

About the play: Bertolt Brecht's play "The Kind Man from Sesuan", which has long become a cult for the theatrical world and re-translated for our theater by Yegor Peregudov, has once again found a sharp topical sound in the production of one of the brightest contemporary directors - Yuri Butusov. This is the story of the prostitute Shen Tie, unexpectedly favored by the gods. But, the more good Shen Tie did, the more troubles fell on her head. Until her cousin, the hard-hearted Shui Ta, suddenly appeared ... The performance is full of wonderful music by Paul Dessau, and the zongs are performed live by artists.
