The Ministry of Culture of Russia, the Russian Cultural Foundation and Roskultproekt have determined the winners of the first open contest for grants for volunteer activities, which is taking place within the framework of the Culture Volunteers program of the Culture national project.
“128 projects have been admitted to the expert council. Based on the selection results, the jury of the contest determined 39 winners who would receive grants and implement their projects until November 20, ”said Olga Yarilova, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation.
The members of the expert jury noted the importance of the project, emphasizing that cultural volunteering has been rapidly developing in quantitative and qualitative terms in recent years.
Among the winners there are 2 Tatarstan projects. One of them - "Island Festival" - will be of interest to young art workers who are fond of fine arts, design and architecture. Students of creative specialties will be able to immerse themselves in the process of realizing art objects from idea to implementation. The training process includes: practical work with materials and participation in construction under the guidance of professionals in their field. All participants take part in the project on a volunteer basis with the possibility of developing a previously abandoned area into a unique environment. The project was preceded by an online contest in which participants could submit developed projects. The final event of the program will be an architectural festival, within which the most interesting ideas will be implemented by participants on the territory of the Helicopter Island of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The second project - "MKM: Youth Culture Management" ANO "CENTER FOR PROVIDING SOCIAL AND CREATIVE ASSISTANCE" I AM A GOOD WORKER ". Its goal is to train and build a team of competent cultural managers. The uniqueness of the program is that both potential regional coordinators of the "Culture Volunteers" movement, as well as employees of regional executive committees who oversee this activity, as well as activists of the social and creative movement "I am DobroTvorets" in the Republic of Tatarstan will be trained.
To the point, the Culture Volunteers movement is being implemented within the framework of the Creative People regional project of the Culture national project. Today, 566 volunteers in the field of culture are officially registered in Tatarstan. In fact, there are much more of them, says Gulfiya Mutugullina, curator of the All-Russian Public Movement "Culture Volunteers in Tatarstan". According to her, the registration of Tatarstan citizens on DOBRO.RU will greatly facilitate the work of both the coordinators of the movement and the volunteers themselves. So, with the help of this platform, everyone can find a useful thing to their liking, and the organizers of volunteer activities can notify volunteers about their project and invite them to take part in it. In addition, the DOBRO.RU project, which unites over a million volunteers and thousands of organizations, is a complete system of useful services for volunteers. For example, "Personal e-books of volunteers" accumulates data on the activity of a volunteer and shares them with other systems, such as the portal of State services and databases of vacancies. The volunteer experience taken into account in this book can be an advantage in employment, admission to a university or during a competition for participation in large-scale volunteer events. Service "Dobro. Contests" ‒ - a constructor for grant competitions, including the "Volunteer of Russia" competition. And these are not all the opportunities that the DOBRO.RU platform opens up for volunteers.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to become part of a team of major cultural events and get acquainted with the richest cultural heritage of their people, look behind the scenes and meet interesting people.
We remind you that in order to become a “Volunteer of Culture” you need to register in the unified information system volunteers of Russia.rf at the link: https://dobro.ru/register.
