Final qualifying rounds of the festival "Constellation-Yoldyzlyk" start in Tatarstan
Final qualifying rounds of the Open Youth Television Festival of Pop Art of the Republic of Tatarstan "Constellation-Yoldyzlyk", which is held in Tatarstan under the patronage of President of the Republic of Tatarstan and under the auspices of UNESCO, will start in Tatarstan This year the festival movement celebrates its 20th anniversary.
According to President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, today the festival "Constellation - Yoldyzlyk" has become an important form of realization of the creative talents of young Tatarstan people. More than a million participants attended the Constellation School. The winners of different years realized themselves in creativity, gained fame and deserved recognition. The concerts of the festival are successfully held in Moscow, Sevastopol, St. Petersburg.
Zone tours will take place in Buinsk, Pestretsy and Zelenodolsk. In Buinsk, the event will take place on August 21-22 in the open air, on the Maidan, where Sabantuy is traditionally organized. On August 24-25 the qualifying rounds will take place in Zelenodolsk, in the city park "Avangard". 3-4 September on the Maidan of the Pestrechisky district of the Republic of Tatarstan.
According to the organizers of the festival movement, all zonal tours will be carried out in compliance with measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. All participants in the competition will arrive at a strictly defined time according to a pre-arranged schedule and after performance will immediately leave for their municipalities so that there is no large crowd of people. Qualifying rounds will be held without spectators and with breaks between performances to sanitize the stage.
The visiting jury of the festival includes: People's Artist of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, laureate of the State Prize named after I. G. Tukay, Professor of the Zhiganov State Conservatory Zilya Sungatullina, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chief Choreographer of the State Academy of Theater Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan Raila Garipova, director of the festival, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Crimea Dmitry Platonov, senior vocal teacher on vocal of the Institute of theatre art named after I. Kobzon, winner of the Grand Prix of the Brunov festival-competition of pop artists, laureate of the festival "Constellation-Yoldyzlyk" Vladimir Shnitko and others.
As a reminder, due to the pandemic, the series of zonal tours was interrupted this festival season. The qualifying stages took place only in Kazan, Aznakaevo, Nizhnekamsk, Muslyumovo, Naberezhnye Chelny, Aksubaevo and Tyulyachi. With the participants of the remaining three zonal tours in Buinsk, Pestretsy and Zelenodolsk during the period of self-isolation, the Sozvezdie-Yoldyzlyk festival worked in an online format.

The final and superfinal of the "Constellation-Yoldyzlyk" festival is planned to be held in the second half of September.
