The program of the I All-Russian Theater and Educational Forum within the framework of the Generation NEXT festival was announced at a press conference at the Tatar-inform news agency
On August 17, Tatarstan will host the 1st All-Russian Theater and Educational Forum for leaders and teachers of children's theater groups within the framework of the Generation NEXT festival, which is held by the Kazan Theater of Young Spectators state institution with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan.
On August 12, at a press conference at Tatar-inform news agency, the head of the department for summary analysis and monitoring of the implementation of the state cultural policy of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Diliya Khairutdinova spoke about the importance of holding the upcoming forum: “The forum will be held on the basis of a professional theater, leading experts in areas of contemporary theater, theater pedagogy, directors, theater experts and critics. We can say with confidence that a fruitful exchange of experience will take place, there will be an opportunity to acquire bright, creative knowledge and determine for ourselves strategic benchmarks and growth prospects for further work. The topic of the seminar "The development of a child's personality in the process of working in a theater group" is one of the most relevant today, especially in the light of the goals and objectives set by the national project "Culture" - this is the spiritual and moral education of young people, cultural education of schoolchildren, the involvement of young citizens in cultural activities ".
It was noted that the online format of the forum made it possible to expand the geography of the participants. Today the organizing committee has registered about 200 participants from 10 regions of the Russian Federation and several foreign countries.
“The format of the Forum is not a spontaneous idea. It is the leaders of children's theatrical groups that often turn to us at the Youth Theater for methodological and practical help. The festival, held in 2019, showed that there is a demand for increasing the competencies of precisely those teachers who work with collectives. We see that a certain community is being formed, and our theater is becoming the center of the children's theatrical movement, ”said Aigul Gornysheva, director of the Kazan Theater for Young Spectators.
At the Generation NEXT forum, five Russian specialists in the field of contemporary theater from Izhevsk, Moscow and St. Petersburg will conduct distance classes.
“In the selection of specialists for the forum, we proceeded from the needs that were voiced by the leaders of children's theater groups. Five invited speakers are strong teachers and directors, ”said Daria Khurtina, teacher-organizer of the Kazan Youth Theater.
The forum program includes three days of intensive practice and theory from teachers. Among them are Svetlana Shanskaya, director and director of ANO "Bird Theater" from Izhevsk, head of the integrated theater studio "Circle II" Andrei Afonin and theater critic Alexei Goncharenko from Moscow, teacher of the Theater of Youth Creativity Evgeny Sazonov and director artistic of "Upsala Circus" Larisa Afanasyeva from Saint-Petersburg.
