The festival of new Tatar culture TAT CULT FEST will be held for the third time at the Kazan Kremlin. The program includes over 30 live performances, art objects, choreography, a design market, a children's area, a food court and much more.
The musical part of the festival will be divided between three stages: Big, Small and Electronic.
The Big Stage will feature bands with large line-ups that play in a variety of genres from indie folk to rock and funk music. A kind of headliner - the Tatarstan-Japanese dance project "Tatara - the heritage of Eurasia".
All genres of urban music will be performed on the Small Stage. Traditionally, rap artists make up the majority of this scene, but among the newcomers this year there are extremely interesting electro and pop bands.
The electronic stage of the festival is expanding and enriched with new names every year. This year we will introduce even more musicians playing genres from ambient to techno, and well-known natives of Kazan and residents of Nina Kravitz's label - PTU will be headliners.
For most bands, Tat Cult Fest is the first live performance in a long time.
Art objects deserve special attention this year - they address the theme of the 100th anniversary of the TASSR. Each art object will be associated with a specific event that took place on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan over the past 100 years. The exhibition will consist of 10 objects of fine art, they will be scattered across the territory of the Kazan Kremlin and will interact with its architecture and landscape features. Guests of the festival will be invited to find these objects using a special guide - a kind of quest-study of the territory of the Kazan Kremlin and the history of the Republic.
On the choreographic stage, an interactive performance will be presented with the participation of leading choreographers and dancers of the Republic, as well as special master classes.
The full program of the festival will be announced soon.
