Today the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting with the delegation of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Russian Federation
The meeting was attended by Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova, from the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Russian Federation - the first secretary of the Embassy, Mr. Rashid Majid A.M. international agency and mediator between the cultures of Qatar and Russia CCA (Cultural Creative Agency).
The meeting was for informational purposes only. The parties discussed possible areas of joint work for coming years. In particular, they talked about the art and ethnographic exhibition project of Qatar, presentation of the culture and art of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Arab country and development of cooperation in the field of cinema. By the way, Qatari directors are regular participants of the Kazan International Muslim Film Festival.
The parties have agreed to develop a roadmap for cooperation in the field of culture in the near future and discuss it in detail at the next meeting.
