Days of Culture of the Komi Republic in the Republic of Tatarstan are planned to be held in Kazan in 2021

This became known at the meeting of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova with the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Archives of the Komi Republic Sergei Emelyanov. The meeting took place today at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The parties expressed interest in building up bilateral cultural and humanitarian cooperation, and also discussed the possibility of holding joint events next year if the epidemiological situation develops favorably. The point, in particular, went about the program and participants of the Days of the Komi Republic in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Cooperation in the field of culture is actively developing between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Komi. Since   2015 to 2020  representatives from the Komi Republic have taken  part in the Festival of national literatures of the peoples of Russia in Kazan. Employees of the National Library of the Komi Republic participated in the XI All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Library Collections: Problems and Solutions" in Kazan.

Theatrical and entertainment institutions of Tatarstan and the Komi Republic also work in close cooperation. In 2017, the Academic Drama Theater after  V. Savin represented the Komi Republic in the I All-Russian festival of theaters of the peoples of the Volga region and the Urals "Idel - Bua - Ural - a space of dialogue" in Buinsk. In 2019, the collective of the State Puppet Theater of the Republic of Komi "took part in the Interregional Theater Educational Forum" Working Horse "in Naberezhnye Chelny. The performance of the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Komi Republic" Asya kya "graced the II All-Russian Festival "Folk Melodies" in Kazan.

Every year, creative delegations of the Republic of Tatarstan take part in the Sabantuy national holiday in the Komi Republic.
