Tatarstan collectives are invited to take part in the regional stage of the All-Russian Choir Festival

In 2020, the All-Russian Choral Society (NP "VHO"), with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, is holding the VI All-Russian Choir Festival. This year it is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Folk choral groups are invited to participate in it.

Competitive selection will be organized in three stages. Regional - will last until September 30. The winners will be delegated to the next, district stage, which will be held in all federal districts of the Russian Federation from May 1 to October 31. The final of the festival will traditionally take place in Moscow in November 2020.

In the Republic of Tatarstan, the regional stage of the 2020 All-Russian Choir Festival is held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the State Big Concert Hall named after Salikh Saydashev. In connection with the current sanitary and epidemiological situation, the creative selection will be carried out in a remote format. The teams must make a video recording of the performance of the competitive program in accordance with the Regulations and send it to kazanchoirfest@mail.ru by e-mail.

Entries, as well as applications for participation, will be accepted until September 1, 2020. The winners of the regional stage of the Competition will be announced by September 20, 2020.

According to the organizers, the All-Russian Choir Festival is intended to intensify the musical activity of Russian folk choirs, the exchange of creative experience, and expand interethnic and interregional cultural exchange.
