Radion Bukaev will head the Kazan Theater for Young Spectators
At the Kazan Theater for Young Spectators, a troupe meeting was held, at which the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova introduced the team to Radion Bukaev, the new chief director of the theater.
“The theater has a future, I believe in it! Much in the future of the theater depends on the person who will conduct it. In any theater, there are two principles: administrative - it is implemented by the director, and there is creative - which is implemented by the chief director. And today I would like to introduce your new chief director Radion Timurovich Bukaev. I think you will definitely not be bored. The main thing is that the theater has its own face, its audience, has its own future ”, - Irada Ayupova began the meeting.
In the creative biography of Radion Bukaev there are theaters in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Omsk, Yekaterinburg, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Ufa, Tomsk, Magadan, Yelets, Prokopyevsk, Minusinsk, Lesosibirsk, Abakan, Serov, Maikop, Taganrog, Lysva, Nizhny Tagil, Sharypovo, Bereznikov, Bratsk, Buinsk.
Until now, he was the chief director of the Magadan Drama Theater.
“I have known this theater since childhood. It is very important for me to have a team. It is very important for the chief director to understand what the theater is like. It is very important for the main director to understand where he is leading. In the theater of a young spectator, I would define my mission as follows: This is such a tree, the trunk of which is a theater for family viewing, where adults would not forget that they once had a childhood, and children knew that they had this childhood and that they have a dad and a mom. The branches of this trunk may be different, but it will all be around the repertoire for family viewing. It is important for me that each of you develop on stage, and I will think about it. I will think about the theater, ”the director addressed the theater's creative team.
Radion is a participant of seminars-laboratories to support theaters in small towns in Russia, organized by the State Theater of Nations. His performances have repeatedly become participants in the Festival of Theaters of Small Towns of the Russian Federation, Russian and international theater festivals.
In 2018, the play "Lesosibirsk Lois" (authors I. Vaskovskaya, D. Utkina) was nominated for the Russian National Theater Award "Golden Mask", and the play, staged at the Kazan Creative Laboratory "Corner", "Children and These" (author G. Oster) - for the Russian National Theater Prize "Harlequin".
R. Bukaev will begin his official duties at the Kazan Youth Theater on November 5.
