June 6 is the birthday of Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin and Russian Language Day. This wonderful holiday is traditionally celebrated in our republic. This year, due to quarantine measures, all events will be organized remotely, but this is no less large-scale. There are about 150 events in the online festive program: creative contests, flash mobs, lectures, virtual trips to memorable places, book exhibitions, online games based on the works of A. Pushkin, master classes and much more. They will be organized throughout the day on official websites and social media pages of museums, libraries and educational institutions.
At 12.00 on the Tatarstan-New Century TV channel, a film concert will begin dedicated to the great Russian writers and poets who left a noticeable mark in the literary life of our region. Filming took place in Kazan, Chistopol, Elabuga, Laishevsky district, as well as in literary museums that carefully preserve evidence of the Russian classics.
This year's annual poetry festival will expand both geography and the number of participants. On social networks (Vkontakte, Facebook, instagram) the Union of Writers of the Republic of Tatarstan organizes a flash mob in which famous poets and writers from different cities of the country will take part. Poems of the great Russian poet on this day will sound in different languages. Everyone will be able to join the action, which will last throughout the day. To do this, you need to read your favorite poem, record it on video and publish the video in your accounts with the hashtag #Birthday of Pushkin, #Denussian language.
Another bright event is the six-day online festival "PushkinFEST", which started in Tatarstan on June 1. Every day of the literary marathon is dedicated to a specific topic. The program on June 6 includes video lectures by famous scientists, representatives of various museums, video stories about the life and work of A.S. Pushkin, informative quizzes, master classes, etc.
Traditionally, events dedicated to the celebration in the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Language Day and the 221st anniversary of the birth of A.S. Pushkin will be held in each municipal district.
