Mari national holiday "Semyk-2020" for the first time this year will be held in online format
On June 5, within the framework of the State program "Implementation of state national policy in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2022" will be held the traditional Republican holiday of Mari culture - "Semyk". This year, in connection with the epidemiological situation, festive events will be organized in an online format, which will allow all lovers of Mari culture to take an active part in them.
The program of the many-hour marathon includes a dance challenge “Dancing Together”, a concert by the Mari folklore groups of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan, a special issue about the history and traditions of the Mari folk festival “Semyk” on the channel “Tatarstan - New Century”, an inter-regional campaign “Literary Semyk”, youth a concert of the project participants “CHONYM POCHIN MURENA”, as well as numerous video congratulations to guests and participants of the project. The events will be broadcast on the YouTube channels of the State Budgetary Institution “Republican Center for the Development of Traditional Culture” Tatfolk, Semyk 2020 Mendeleevsk, on the official Instagram accounts of the organizers, as well as on the portal of the Assembly and the House of Friendship of the Peoples of Tatarstan.
