A premiere of the play «Other time» to take place in RT State Museum of Fine Arts

Tomorrow, on December  18,  at  12.00,  a premiere of historic-interactive children new-year performance «Other time»  to be given in RT SMFA. Young actors Aidar Zabbarov Irina Krasnova, Fail Gaifutdinov  are engaged in experimental   production put up  by director Regina Sattarova. Shows of the performance will take place up to January 4, 2013 , the actors  give 3-4 presentations a day.

«Performance «Other time» - an innovatory piece  in all senses, - first deputy director of SMFA Ruslan Shigabetdinov says. – First, we refused from usual division of space into hall and stage: our actors  are beside the children, attracting them in what is happening. Due to this, number of spectators we have to cut. The performance  «Other time » is  designated for the audience not more than  30-40 people.  Second, a theatrical is without  fixed  plot and text:   part of the  act  goes in improvisation mode and depends on children’s reaction  on this or other  sense move. Third, and, may be , the key point, we decided  not to make a moving children  morning festive with riddles of Father Frost and walk- around  fir tree. The performance  «Other time », first of all, is educational in a mode of ultimate engagement,  children  get familiarized with Christmas traditions of    XIX century, learn how  new-year  was  celebrated hundred years ago, find  differences of present century from the past one. I am sure that    the project will be interesting nor only for school children but for the youth and even adults».
