Thanks to your ideas, painstaking work, the cultural life of our republic every year becomes more meaningful and emotionally saturated.
The role of culture in the history of the country is difficult to overestimate. This year we celebrate the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. It was art that all these years helped to mobilize forces, gain victories on the fronts of the war, and later on major construction sites. The mission that you continue to carry is invaluable today. It is no coincidence that culture was included in the list of national priorities of the state policy of the country.
We have something to be proud of! Tatarstan today leads in the main indicators in the field of culture. The republic exceeded the plan for the national project "Culture". Last year, Tatarstan residents and guests of the republic visited cultural institutions more than 28 million times - this is an important indicator of the effectiveness of our common work and confirmation of the correctness of the chosen course of development of the industry as a whole.
I express my gratitude to everyone who works in our culture houses, libraries, theaters, museums, children's art schools for their sincere dedication to the profession.
