March 1 at the Museum-Memorial of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 presentation of the new exposition will take place

RT Minister of Culture Irada Ayupova will take part in the opening ceremony of the updated exposition.

The exposition includes materials on  military and labor exploits of the Tatarstan people, preserving the memory of the war, as well as new exhibits transmitted by participants in the war and rear workers, search organizations.

In the course of the preparation of the exhibition, a large-scale work was carried out: research and design studies,  artwork, which allowed us to show in a new way the contribution of Tatarstan to the Victory over fascism.

For volumetric-spatial compositions, interior complexes and interactive zones, decorations and mock-ups, remodels of uniforms and equipment of fighters of the Red Army were made. The design solution of the exposition and modern museum technologies will allow you to get acquainted with  iconic battles  in which the Tatarstan participated. Visitors will be able to visit the dugout, read letters from the front in the interior of a city apartment, sit on a military motorcycle and see the joyful faces of Kazan citizens who met Victory on May 9, 1945.

Each section of the exhibition is supported by the thematic resource of the Virtual Museum of the Great Patriotic War of the Republic of Tatarstan (tatfrontu.ru). Electronic terminals created on its basis, and original electronic stations have significantly expanded the museum’s information space.

In the section "Our memory is sacred ..." an updated electronic "Book of Memory" is presented - a database of residents of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic who died and went missing during the Great Patriotic War. The section "Tatarstan - to the front: front and rear" is supplemented by the terminal "Interactive maps" Tatarstan during the Great Patriotic War "." In the “Constellation of Heroes” section on-line you can get acquainted with the memories and stories of war veterans, the activities of public and search organizations. The cadre of military newsreels will also help to feel the severity of the everyday war.

The new exposition is designed to promote the active involvement of visitors of different ages in independently gaining new knowledge, the desire to learn more about the history of Russia and the contribution of the Tatarstan people to the Great Victory over the fascist invaders, to promote the formation of historical consciousness and patriotism among visitors.
