The national complex “Tugan Avylym” in the year of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the TASSR announced the republican photo contest “Tugan Avylym - Native Village”

The partners of the photo contest are: Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications "Tatmedia", Association of Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan, Coordination Council of Fellowships of the Republic of Tatarstan.

There has not yet been a photo contest in the history of the republic where the theme of the village would have sounded like an independent one. Meanwhile, it was in the village that the origins of the national culture were formed, the traditions and customs of the people were formed. At the same time, of course, the modern life of the village, the daily life of the villagers, has changed significantly today.

The chosen theme of the contest, which allows revealing it through photography, is of great interest both for art and for the history of Tatarstan, where the village occupies a significant part of the life of the people, the economy of the republic.

The photo contest has three nominations:

"The village of Tatarstan. Weekdays and holidays";

"Traditions, rites, crafts of the village" ";

"The nature of Tatarstan."
