Next year in Kazan will host the First Central-Eastern Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems

On September 21-24, 2020, the First Central-Eastern Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) will be held in Kazan, the republic has  won the right to host the results of the bidding campaign.

The organizer of the congress is ERTICO ITS Europe * Association. Co-organizers are the ministries and departments of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan.

This is a new and large-scale event in the history of the ERTICO Association, aimed at the development of ITS in Russia, the CIS countries, the Middle East, Europe and Asia. An industry event of a similar level and significance will be held for the first time on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The philosophy of the congress is the unification of the global ITS community with the goal of sustainable development of traffic. The key idea is attracting innovations, creating a “smart future”.

The Congress in Kazan will present a global platform for presentation of ITS solutions in order to ensure safe, efficient, environmentally friendly and affordable mobility.

The main thematic areas: traffic management, public transport, legislation in the field of traffic management, big data, research and development, innovation, drones, satellites, ITS and the environment, mobile applications, training for ITS.

The format of the event provides for a rich business program, exhibition, technical visits, demonstrations, high-quality networking.

* ERTIKO ITS Europe Association was founded in 1991 at the initiative of 15 leaders of the Intelligent Vehicle Industry (ITS) and the European Commission to implement research and development in the field of traffic.
