On the eve at the "Moscow" Cultural Center, the "Evening of Romania in the Republic of Tatarstan" was held.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Russian Federation Vasile Soare, as well as the guests of the event were welcomed by Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova.
“National identity is the most valuable thing that we need to preserve today. In the context of globalization and digitalization, it is very important for us not to lose ourselves, therefore, addressing the cultural component, cultural exchanges in diplomatic relations of any level is among the priorities today, ”Irada Ayupova emphasized, speaking about the importance of strengthening interstate and regional ties.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Russian Federation Vasile Soare said that this year Romania’s National Day will be celebrated in many regions and cities of Russia. So, a day earlier, representatives of the Romanian embassy and artists visited Nizhny Novgorod, and tomorrow they will perform in Yekaterinburg. And this is not the last stop of a large cultural marathon.
The evening continued with a concert of the folk ensemble “Tsar Vranches”, which introduced the guests of the festival to the culture and work of the Romanian people.
“Such cultural events are a great opportunity to introduce people to a different culture and other traditions. We not only showed our culture, but also saw the local. This is a great experience for us, ”the artists shared their impressions of the concert.
