The representative of Tatarstan received Grand Prix of the International Festival "Woman's Hands"

The second International Festival of Arts and Crafts "Woman's Hands" was held in Moscow. The event was organized by the International Union of Women. Artists, masters of arts and crafts, folk art, designers, representatives of other creative directions from 40 regions of Russia and neighboring countries took part in it.

Guests of the festival admired the Vologda lace, national ornaments, life-size puppets, downy Voronezh shawls, Russian furs and a variety of original works.

The winner of the competition became  a craftswoman from Kazan, Irina Khalitova. The jury praised her author's dolls. Irina Sergeevna was awarded the highest award - the Grand Prix of the festival.

All her dolls are created without the use of ready-made forms, in a single copy and even have their own passport. Manually made costumes and accessories of toys.

According to the winner, she has been passionate about manual dolls for a long time, devotes all her free time to her favorite craft. Her main place of work is Kazan National Research Technical University  named after  A.N. Tupolev - KAI, where she heads a department of educational work with students.

In the near future, the works by  the winners of the International Festival of Decorative and Applied Art “Woman's Hands” will be seen at personal exhibitions, which are planned to be organized in the country and abroad.
