In Moscow, the V National Abilimpix Championship of Professional Skills for Disabled and Persons with Disabilities has ended. The Republic of Tatarstan at the competitions in the competence "Jewelcrafting" was represented by a student of the Kazan College of Folk Art Crafts Elizaveta Lee. She received this right following a performance at the regional stage in Kazan, where she has won the first place. At the national championship, Elizaveta took the third place. Her mentor was Fanur Valiullin - master of industrial training, 2017 medalist (1st place). The award ceremony took place the day before, and tomorrow the winner is expected at home.
We remind the international movement "Abilimpix" is part of the platform "Russia - a Country of Opportunities." The international non-profit movement provides effective vocational guidance and motivation for people with disabilities, whose goal is to create a system of professional skills contests for people with disabilities s in Russia.
The competitions, which took place throughout the country throughout the year, were attended by over 10 thousand people. The skill of the participants was evaluated by over 500 selected experts. Among them: representatives of employers, educational organizations and public organizations of persons with disabilities.
Vladislav Davankov, Deputy General Director of ANO “Russia is a Country of Opportunities” noted that Abilimpix was among the first projects to join the platform “Russia is a Country of Opportunities”. “Last year, the championship was the largest in the history of the event. And this year he brought together even more participants, who can rightfully be called people of unlimited possibilities. More than 1800 people came to the finals in Moscow, a year earlier - a little more than 1100. Many employers gathered here to invite the brightest guys to their work. We hope that a high interest in the Abilimpix championship will continue in the future, because it means that they believe in the project, believe that it helps to realize themselves, ”Vladislav Davankov emphasized.
