October 11 at 15:00, the Exhibition Hall "Manege" opens the exhibition "Lessons of Rizaetdin Fakhretdinov", dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the scholar and enlightener.
For the first time in one place objects from museum, library, archival collections belonging to the "perfect man" will be presented. The binder of the Shura magazine from the collection of the Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve presents Fakhretdinov as an enthusiastic journalist and moderator of discussions on important topics of his time. The clock - floor, pocket, desktop - speaks of Fakhretdinov as a man of business who values time. Gifts of the King of Saudi Arabia, official correspondence documents demonstrate the authority of the hero of the exhibition. Particular attention is paid to the story of Rizaetdin Fakhretdinov as an attentive father and a loving spouse. The exhibition presents letters, postcards and photographs with autographs - Fakhretdinov’s wishes to children and friends.
Visitors will see rare video frames, depicting Fakhretdinov in 1921 and 1928. The exhibition will have a library where you can read Fakhretdinov’s books and publications on Tatar theology, historical and cultural heritage. The program also included lectures, creative classes and meetings.
