Measures dedicated to 1150th - anniversary of Russian statehood is to take place in the Republic of Tatarstan

From  September 21 to 23, a celebration Day of Russian statehood  is to take place in the city of  Veliky Novgorod. Within  an event  celebrating in the Tatartsan,  the  measures dedicated to  1150th   anniversary   are programmed as well

September 25, at 13.00 in  E.A, Baratynsky museum of the RT  National museum,  opening of the exhibition  «Russian  Odyssey , created within the frame work of the project “White way of  Russian Odyssey. created   within the project   «White way or Russian Odyssey» - a winner of  VIII contest of Charitable fund of Potanin «Changing museum in changing world». The exhibition  «Russian Odyssey» is dedicated to the events of of Civil war in Russia 1918 – 1922 years.

«Russian Odyssey» –   the first in the Republic of Tatarstan on history of the White movement and emigration of the first wave«первой».

The main heroine of the exposition  – Olga Ilyina Boratynskaya (1894 – 1991), a prominent writer and poetess of Russian abroad , granddaughter of E.S. Boratynsky. Her autobiographic novel  «White way of Russian Odyssey 1919 – 1923»  reflected  symbolic pages of history of Civil  war  when  hundreds thousand people began  as a result of Civil War  has commenced their personal  «odyssey». The novel became  a basis of fibula of the exhibition.

Also, from September  25 – 27, the RT National museum and Museum of E.A, Boratynsky  holds  All-Russia scientific-practical conference  «Civil war from the Volga area to Harbin:existences of personal souls». 

The project opens for Kazan and Tatarstan  an important theme of participation of Kazaners in Civil war. White war actively is being under study from military point of view, the biographies of prominent personalities. however, the other side of war, biographies      однако другая сторона войны – of civil personalities  – refugees, not appeared  so far оthe object of scientific research .

A key event of the project became historic-documentary expedition  held in January-February 2012 on route Kazan Harbin which was passed by real people. heroes jf  autobiographic novel.  «White way. Russian odyssey 1919-1923» by  O.А. Ilyima  Boratymskoi, a famous writer of of Russian abroad.

One of the most important implementation is a conference   «Civil war from the Volga area  to Harbin: existences of personal destines».
