By the end of August in Tatarstan, as part of the national project "Culture", five virtual concert halls will be launched

Virtual concert halls will open in Spassky, Arsky, Bavlinsky, Elabuga and Mamadysh districts. They will be created on the basis of local libraries, a museum and a children's music school.

Venues are equipped with multimedia equipment. This will allow local residents to watch the best concerts of Russian and foreign performers, as well as performances, online or in recordings. In addition, it is planned to broadcast special programs designed for children. The regions have    received 300 thousand rubles from the federal budget for  purchasing  and installation of equipment.

In total, up to 2024, it is planned to create 500 virtual concert halls throughout the country.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated May 7, 2018 No. 204 “On National Goals and Strategic Tasks of the Development of the Russian Federation for the Period until 2024”, culture in the Russian Federation was elevated to the rank of national priorities and recognized as the most important factor in improving the quality of life and harmonizing public relations , the key to dynamic socio-economic development, the guarantor of maintaining a unified cultural space and territorial integrity of Russia.

In the Republic of Tatarstan, in order to achieve the goals of the national project “Culture”, three regional projects have been formed: “Cultural environment”, “Creative people” and “Digital culture”.

The virtual concert hall is a landmark project of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, one of the key achievements in the formation of the “open cultural space” of Russia. A network of virtual concert halls, created throughout Russia, will help create equal opportunities for access to cultural property for all citizens of the Russian Federation, regardless of their place of residence.
