Equator of festival of Muslim cinema and «Poterya (Loss) » of Ildar Yagofarov

The fourth day of cinema festival was marked by a long awaited show of the film «Poterya (Loss)» by Ildar Yagofarov – history on quiet loss of a whole generation of Tatars, expressing in absence of succession of culture and self-awareness.
At the press –conference, having taking place immediately after show within the framework of contest program of VIII Kazan international festival of Muslim cinema festival of Muslim cinema director of film Ildar Yagofarov and performer of the main part Marsel Timofeev were present.
Ildar Yagofarov – member of the union of cinema makers of Russia, director of the first Tatar feature art film, author of the concept of sentimental neo-realism in cinematography. In year 2000 he shot film «Behetkai which a year later he received diploma Days of Turkic cinema in Istabul. In November 2005, Ildar Yagofarov set up a cinema studio «Ya production which is engaged mainly in production of art, documentaries representative, family films, musical clips, audi ads , advertising video ads. For 6 years of work he has created over 400 works among them over 150 video ads which are being broadcast on federal and regional channels.
In 2012 Ildar Yagofarov shot film «Poterya, the basis of scrip is history about three brothers – The elder, modern man, living in Kazan, middle remained in a village with father, he is representative of grass-root people. living in the village, the youngest brother lives in St. Petersburg and completely forgot about his culture .
Once father of heroes (Ati) goes hunting and does not came back and brothers return to family nest in order start his searching. Watching the heroes, analyzing their conversations, interrelations, situations in which they happen to be, we understand: the brothers have changed so far that became completely alien to each other and went far beyond from native nest. Each of them has their own purposes, attitude to life .
